Hello there!
My name is Aryan Bhatia, and I am currently pursuing a BS-MS dual degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram, India. My research interests are currently focused on relativity physics and quantum physics. That being said, I am very early in my career and willing to work on just about anything in theoretical and computational high-energy physics and quantum theory.
Currently I am working under Dr Suraj S Hegde on Topological Quantum Field Theory (Chern Simons Theory). Currently I am reading upon Chern Simons Supergravity.
Before this I worked under Dr Soumen Basak for a short period of time on Numerical Relativity using the 3+1 ADM decomposition.
Previously, I compiled a report titled "Explanation of Twin Paradox & Equivalence Principle" under the supervision of Dr Srijit Bhattacharjee from IIIT Allahabad. Apart from this, I also worked on creating animations for Lorentz transformations using Python and manim library which can be found here.
Additionally, I have proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++ and have an intermediate skill set in C and type-scripting languages such as LaTeX. I have also worked under Dr Nagaiah Chamakuri from IISER TVM, where I learned the fundamentals for template-meta programming and techniques for numerical solutions for partial differential equations.
Apart from physics and mathematics, I often indulge in web development, competitive programming, designing and video editing. Currently, I am one of the Science & Technology representative at IISER TVM.
